Situation

On 4 April 12, 2017, President Bashar al-Assad employed the use of toxic gas in the Idlib Province and a confirmed 69 civilians have died. The chemicals used in the attack were developed at the Duma Bio Chemical Facility, The Asad Chemical Facility, and the Damascus Chemical Complex. The toxic gas was weaponized and assembled into bombs at the Fthirma Missile Research Site.Mig-23s from Shayrat AB delivered the bombs.

Mission

The 877th (v) Fighter Squadron has been tasked with the complete destruction of the Duma Bio Chemical Facility and the Asad Chemical Facility in the west and central part of Damascus.
